The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) is a professional network of 6000 physiotherapists who use Western evidence based acupuncture within clinical practice in both the National Health Service (NHS) and private practice.

The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) is firmly established as the leading force in the delivery of safe and effective Pilates’ teacher training for physiotherapists, and is now widely recognised as a quality standard for Pilates in physiotherapy.

Physio First is the Organisation which represents Physiotherapists in private practice.

Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) - Formerly ACPWH.  POGP are physiotherapists who have a special interest in women’s health and specialise in the care of women in relation to childbirth, both antenatally and postnatally, in the treatment of bladder and bowel incontinence and care following gynaecological surgery.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) regulate health and care professionals in the UK and were set up to protect the public. They only register professionals who meet their standards for training, professional skills and behaviour.

NICE is the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and provides national guidance and advice to improve health and social care.
