Osteoporosis and Pilates

Moira D’Arcy is both a Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor at St Judes and combines her physio knowledge along with her specialised training from the APPI Pilates courses she has completed, to regularly deliver exercise targeting osteoporosis into her classes.  She gives careful instruction and explanation of why a particular exercise is being taught.

As well as attending classes her students are also encouraged to practise at home to help their general fitness and bone strength.

Keep strong - ask Moira about her zoom Pilates classes and how they can help you.  An assessment is carried out before joining classes to ensure that the exercises are right for you personally and to take into account any weaknesses or injuries you may have.
