We welcome new members to the St Judes Team

We are very pleased to announce that we have a new Massage Therapist starting at St Judes - Rachel Fawcett.

Rachel Fawcett new Massage Therapist at St Judes Read more about her below:

After graduating from Loughborough University with a BSc in Sports Science and PE, Rachel joined the Army and spent 16 years serving all over the world.  She then qualified as a Personal Trainer with Referred Populations running numerous boot camps and post natal fitness classes.

Rachel is a keen runner and enjoys being out on trails and in 2013 started competing in Ultra Marathons.  It was this exposure to extreme endurance competition which prompted her to look harder at how to prevent and treat injury, eventually leading to her completing a Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy with the Oxford School of Sports Massage.

She now combines her love of sport and running with massaging and rehabilitating others. She can treat sports, occupational and postural pain and discomfort through massage and soft tissue techniques.  Through her rehabilitation, she helps get people back to their sport, make their working lives more comfortable or simply keep them what they love!  Rachel also occasionally writes for Outdoor Fitness magazine on the topic of running.

You can see Rachel at St Judes Clinic on Wednesdays.

ADMIN TEAM CHANGES - We've had quite a shuffle amongst the team - we say a fond farewell to Lorraine and Elaine and wish them all the best in their jobs with the National Trust.  Shirlene who will also be leaving us at the end of the month for her love of travel (but you still might see her filling in for us!)  We thank you and hope you enjoy your new posts.

We say hello and welcome to Theresa (TC) who has already started with us and Donna and Theresa G who will be starting at the end of the month.  I am sure you will all join us in thanking our leavers - we will miss you but sure we will see you around!  Also, we hope that you will bear with us whilst we train up our new staff whom I am sure will be an asset to St Judes.
